Empowering Women’s Health: Body Talk Live Welcomes NI Public Listening Exercise

In an exciting move for women’s health in Northern Ireland, Health Minister Robin Swann has announced a large-scale public listening exercise aimed at understanding and addressing the unique healthcare needs of women across the region. This initiative, supported by the Department of Health, is a significant step forward in fostering inclusivity and prioritising the health and well being of women.

At Body Talk Live, we’re thrilled to welcome this crucial undertaking. Our mission has always been to empower individuals to make informed decisions about their health, and initiatives like this public listening exercise align perfectly with our goals. By putting women at the centre of the conversation and actively seeking their input, we can ensure that their voices are heard, and their healthcare needs are addressed in a comprehensive way.

"By putting women at the centre of the conversation and actively seeking their input, we can ensure that their voices are heard, and their healthcare needs are addressed"

As Minister Swann rightly pointed out, issues related to women’s health and wellbeing are high priorities for the Department of Health. By engaging in constructive dialogue and listening to the experiences and perspectives of women from diverse backgrounds, we can pave the way for the development of a comprehensive Women’s Health Strategy for Northern Ireland that truly resonates with the people it’s meant to serve.

At Body Talk Live, we recognise the significance of engaging in meaningful conversations about women’s health and wellbeing. By supporting initiatives like this public listening exercise we hope to contribute to creating a healthcare system that is inclusive, responsive and tailored to meet the diverse needs of all individuals, regardless of gender.

We’re excited to see the outcomes of this effort and remain committed to promoting women’s health and empowerment. Together, we can create a healthier more equitable future for all!
