Dr Eimear McLaverty qualified from QUB and has been working for the NHS for the past 20 years with her primary role as a GP principal in East Antrim. She is the GP clinical lead for elective care gynaecology in the Northern Area helping to establish the regional network of primary care gynaecology hubs & works as a GP with enhanced skills in gynaecology within the Belfast Trust. Through these roles she aims to provide better elective patient care in the community.

As well as a cultivating a keen interest in women’s health & urogynaecology, she has a passion for hormonal health and how it impacts females . Eimear also has a keen interest for medical education working as a GP tutor with both  QUB & UU, a GP trainer & appraiser.
